The Guided Cayuga Rafting Trip. This is our beginner guided rafting trip on the Grand River from Paris to Brant Conservation Area. It has a picnic site with washrooms, fresh water springs, visit an 1830 old mine and a 400m body surfing section. This is a beautiful paddle with a gentle current, great for non-swimmers to try!  With small children this is an early takeout point at the picnic area.

Base Cost is $305.00 per raft plus $7.50 per person (up to 8 people per raft)... includes paddles, lifejackets, dry bags, return shuttle ride.

The Guided Oneida Rafting Trip  This is our intermediate guided rafting trip on Grand River from Glen Morris to Paris. It has about 1km of easy splash to paddle, body surfing, the hollow tree and a picnic area with washrooms. This route does not have an early takeout.

Base Cost is $320.00 per raft plus $7.50 per person (up to 8 people per raft)... includes paddles, lifejackets, dry bags, return shuttle ride.

The Guided Nith River Whitewater is a springtime rafting trip only when the river is in flood condition. A great beginner splash route with 2-3 ft high waves.

Base Cost is $320.00 per raft plus $7.50 per person (up to 8 people per raft)... includes paddles, lifejackets, dry bags, return shuttle ride.

Cost to join another group doing the Nith Whitewater as one person or two is $60.00 each. Note this trip is normally in early April after the snow has melted and the Nith River is flooded.

Grand River Details

Our guided Grand River rafting trips make the Grand Valley come alive with 3-5 hour trips.

The Grand River averages 1 meter in depth, with 2 meter pools to swim in.

Good for children 1 years and up... a great trip for seniors who don't paddle!

All groups have their own personal guides.

You can add a lunch order!

The guide is not there just for safety, but to let you try spring water, learn about edible plants & trees, short forest hikes, identify wildlife, try fire without matches, teach aboriginal history and take you body surfing.

"What a Beautiful Experience!"  (TripAdvisor Customer Review)

We would very highly recommend this rafting activity. Our kids are young adults and teens and finding a famiily activity can be a bit more of a challenge... But this was just ideal.

Garth is the consummate host-meticulous in taking proper care of his guests and very patient and accommodatiing. Dale, our very pleasant guide, shared substantial knowledge about the flora surrounding us. He was also very good in (and out!) of the raft, especially when my daughter was body surfing in the wrong direction!

The scenery was stunning and so utterly peaceful. We hope to come back soon. more
