The Nith is a narrow river with a stoney bottom... the clay banks make it awkward to walk.
The Nith is a river of swifts and pools where smallmouth bass predominate… but there are pike and pickerel here too.
There are no bait/barb restrictions on this river.
This is a shallow river and a tough river to boat.
We will have to get out and walk the raft through the odd shallow… but if your looking for a unique river with a good fishing... this is the trip for you.

The one restriction with the Nith River is the summer flow rates... so we cannot always guarantee trips on this river.
Also immediately after a heavy rain... this river of clarity turns brown because of the clay banks and we will cancel trips because of blow-out.

Once you have chosen a fishing route and time, we meet you at the starting point.
The platforms are spacious where you can sit or stand as the guide takes you down the river… the speed of the rafts are excellent for fishing the pools.
You can also choose to stop and shore fish interesting spots… remember it is your day.
