Unmanaged stress is linked to a variety of adolescent challenges, including poor academic performance, substance abuse, risky sexual behaviours, obesity, depression, and anxiety.

Research reveals that yoga can be a profound vehicle for cultivating adolescents’ stress resilience, self-acceptance, and ability to self-regulate.

Though the practice of asanas (physical poses), Pranayama (breath work), Mindfulness, Meditation and philosophy Grand River Yoga Teachers help students to find techniques to reconnect to self, centre and balance their mind, bodies & spirit.
