Gift Certificates

You have two choices with our gift certificates…

1. You can purchase in a set dollar amount…
2. Or you can purchase a trip experience.

For both choices you need to setup an account… please go to the gift certificate page.

At the gift certificate page click the blue “Login” button… and the system will walk you through setting up your account.

We offer 4 routes with 9 types of boats.

Each of the links below gives you boat prices and route choices.

Turbo Tubes… this is something anyone can do from 3 years and up… great for all shapes, sizes and skill… excellent for non-swimmers. The most favorite choice

Individual Kayaks… kayaks require some beginner experience… we normally suggest for children 8 years and up… paddling a kayak is like a swan gliding across the water.

Individual Stand Up Paddleboards… standing on a paddleboard is a great way to view the river from a different perspective. Our river boards are very stable… and when unsure… just kneel.

Tandem Yak… these two-person inflatable boats are almost non-tippable, great for two beginners wishing to travel together or a child & adult combination. They are slow but very stable.

Tandem Kayak… these two person boats are the fastest boats in the fleet. Good stability and another option for parents wishing to travel together with a child.

Canoe… this is the most tippy and hardest boat to paddle if not experienced. It can hold 3 adults or two adults with 2 small children. We do not recommend for first timers!

Eight Person Stand Up Paddleboard… now this thing is 18ft long and 5ft wide… like a big floating dock that can hold up to eight people. A favorite for parents with kids that want to swim. Just fun!

Eight Person Raft… a unique way to experience everything together. These boats cannot tip over. You can stand up and walk in them… great for first time… from newborn to ninety year olds!

Twelve Person Raft... these are our biggest boats that cannot tip over. Again this is a family boat for all ages, sizes and skill. A great way to have fun together.

At Grand River Rafting, we use our success to help others be successful.

Upon arrival, we give all our customers a Paris Dollar.

The idea is that when you spend $10 or more in Paris with a local merchant… upon giving the merchant your coupon… you get one dollar off.

But what you don’t know is that… each month, Grand River Rafting collects the coupons and reimburses the merchant for the dollars discounted.

This has been a great way to support the Paris merchants and to encourage our clients to visit them.

So take your coupons… knock on the door… and make a difference in our town.

When done our trips… the big question is… ” what else can I do here?”

The Big Creek Buck encourages our clients to visit local eateries, wineries, farmgate produce and boutique shops.

Each customer paddling Big Creek gets the buck.

When our customers spend $10 or more with a local merchant, they hand in their Big Creek Buck… and a dollar is discounted.

Then, each month… Grand River Rafting collects the coupons and reimburses the merchant the dollars discounted.

This has been a great way to introduce our customers to the local merchants… and make a difference in the Norfolk community!
